Zurich Weinmesse

Every year, Zurich hosts a wine tasting on 7 big ships docked by the end of Zurichsee (right near the mouth of the river shown in the photo above). For CHF20, you can sample wines from all over the world, and if you want, you can buy them at a discount. Well, I'm no wine officionado, but I gotta say, wine boats are fun. The more I learn about different wines, the more I like them. Today I decided to buy three cases of wine. A blauburgunder (similar to pinot noir) from Zurich, a riesling from eastern Austria, and a case of Spanish wine that I ended up purchasing on my way out of the last wine boat, after a full 3 hours of "sampling"...
